Norwich School sailing team is attempting to set a new record for 'the number of inland miles sailed in 12 hours in a Norfolk punt'. The record attempt is a fundraiser which the team hope will raise £2,000 to help contribute towards their participation at the RS Feva World Championships being held in Italy, July 2019.

The Norwich School 1st XI girls hockey team won silver in the Tier 2 National finals earlier this month. Read on to hear a report by Mr Sorrell, Head of Hockey at Norwich School.

The Norwich School Dance Show took place at Epic Studios, 21st and 22nd March 2019. 

The level of commitment, talent and creativity of all pupils involved was impressive. With only a few weeks of rehearsal time, all pupils committed to the process and approached rehearsals with enthusiasm and drive. Many of the pieces from the evening were choreographed and organised by the pupils themselves.

The final race in the Cross Country East Anglian League took place on Saturday 23rd March, where Norwich School pupils excelled in all races and won every individual and team competition. Read on to hear a report on the day from Mr Hudson.

The week of National Schools Finals finally dawned for the U19 squad. During the week the girls had fully committed to their last-minute preparations in the form of training and gym sessions and a training match against a very strong UEA 1st VII.

Norwich School pupil, Laura-Rose Cooke, competed in the Senior Women’s Artistic Gymnastics British Championships in Liverpool over the weekend alongside Gb and Olympic gymnasts.

On Sunday 3rd March, Norwich School Senior Boys Cross Country Team travelled to Harrow School for the South-East Schools Cross Country Championships.

Over the February half-term holiday, 8th Norwich Scouts were very busy on a trip to the Yorkshire Dales, taking part in the Baden-Powell Anniversary Challenge, an off-road biking day in Thetford forest and taking part in an RYA Power Boat Level 2 course. On Saturday 16th January, after weeks of preparation, the school's U14 and U19  squads travelled to Stanborough School in Welwyn Garden City to compete in the Regional Round of the National Schools Netball competition.

On Tuesday 22nd January twenty-one Norwich School runners took part in the Norfolk Schools Cross Country Championships at Langley High School. Over a flat, fast course our athletes competed against the best cross country runners in Norfolk, with the aim to finish in the top 12 in order to earn a County Vest.

Norwich School pupil Isabelle Mardle is the new South of England indoor U13 champion for long jump and shot put.

On Saturday 19th January, Norwich School, Gresham's, Ipswich School and Royal Hospital School came together for the first East Anglian League cross country fixture of the year. The fixture took place at Mousehold Heath, Norwich, where twenty-six Norwich School runners competed in fine, crisp conditions.

Norwich School pupil, Charlie O'Shea, is currently competing in the European Snowboarding Freeride Junior Tour. Charlie is training with the Les Arcs Freeski Academy and is the only snowboarder in the team. He's embracing this fantastic opportunity and enjoying getting to know his French team mates.

The Under 14 Rugby Team were crowned county champions last week after wins against Wymondham College (20-0), Langley (26-5), Gresham’s (14-0) and CNS (24-5) secure the trophy.

Ten members of the Norwich School orienteering club travelled to Lancashire on Saturday morning for what turned out to be a historic weekend for the club. Everyone ran well, and the squad were a credit to the school over the whole weekend.
