On Thursday, 29 Lower Six Chemists chose to spend the day taking part in the Royal Society of Chemistry's Young Analyst Competition. They were tasked with using their chemistry skills to get to the bottom of a heinous crime - someone had sabotaged the bake off!

After 6 hours of teamworking, experimenting and analysis, they submitted their findings to the regional committee. They now await the verdict of the judges, to find out who is the local champion and whether they have qualified for the national final. Good luck everyone!
