This Term over two trips in November and December, L6 Business Enterprise classes have been working at Hethel Engineering Centre, to understand the process of starting up a business.
We have been the guests of ETA Green Power, who explained how finance is raised by engineering firms designing the next generation of electric motors. Pupils have seen start up strategy in action, and the development of a marketing plan that aims to turn their ideas (patents and ‘intellectual property’) into solutions that meet the needs of the 21st century. Thank you to the Hethel Engineering Centre for having us, it has inspired our pupils moving forward and given them much to think about.
