On Monday 15th October, 17 runners from the Cross Country Club braved the weather and traveled to Farlingaye, Suffolk, for the first round of the English Schools Cross Country Cup. 

Norwich School pupil sailing update, October 2018 

Richard Halsall (ex. England Cricket fielding coach and Bangladesh assistant coach) visited Norwich School on Wednesday 10^th October to run an assessment day which will assist selection for the 2018/19 intake for the Cricket Academy (a partnership between Sussex County Cricket Club and Norwich School).

On Friday 21st September, 300 people attended the annual Norfolk Youth Cricket dinner and award presentation evening. Several Norwich School pupils attended the event, and some were presented with awards during the evening.

After a successful season, the Norwich School Boat Club are proud that four pupils have been chosen for the 2018 J16 Great British Rowing Squad. The boys, Huckleberry Hempsall (U5), John Elliot (U5), Matthew Tremelling (U5) and Duncan Steel (U5), are set to race against France on Thursday 12 July. The annual event will be held in Vaires-sur-Marne, near Paris.

Norwich School celebrated its annual sports day at the Lower School playing fields on Saturday 30th June. Despite the blue skies and sunshine, records were broken on both track and field and a fun time was had by all. 

Norwich School pupil James Hill was presented with the County Commissioner for Scouting's Commendation for service, dedication and commitment to Scouting on Friday 16th June. 

Only one award such award is presented within the County each year. 

Norwich School pupil Harry Peachment, as well as James Hill, also received the Explorer Scout Belt awards for their work and achievements during the year.
