Norwich School is continuing to celebrate some individual pupil successes following GCSE Results Day 2019.

Several pupils have achieved a full set of GCSEs at Grade 8/9/A*.

This morning saw some outstanding individual attainment. Both Revanth Roy and Daniel Tharian are celebrating achieving 9s in all of their exams.

Norwich School is celebrating some fantastic individual pupil successes this morning as pupils have been collecting their GCSE results. 

A number of multi-talented pupils who have been active in projects alongside their studies have shown their ability to combine their studies with their own passions.

This morning saw pupils celebrate a fantastic set of GCSE results with some outstanding individual attainment. 7 candidates secured 10 A* or better, 16 pupils achieved 9 A* or better and we saw 26 pupils with 8 A* or better.

Amongst those are pupils who have been heavily involved in the arts alongside their academic studies.

Applications are now open for our Cricket Academy in partnership with Sussex County Cricket Club. 

The Academy is open for boys and girls aged between 10 and 16 from schools in East Anglia.

Norwich School ensures that pupils are given a broad range of extracurricular opportunities, whether that be through sports, the arts and community service or leadership roles. Many of the pupils enjoying success today have an interesting story to tell. Here are some of the individual success stories.

Sixth Formers at Norwich School are celebrating strong A level grades today, with almost 60% of all grades at A*-A. There have also been some outstanding individual achievements: one candidate secured four A* grades, 13 pupils received at least 3 A*s and 59 pupils achieved at least 3 As.

This July, Norwich School once again the University Summer School for Year 12 pupils from across Norfolk.

Norwich School welcomed around 750 visitors from over 25 schools to its seventh Norfolk Children’s Book Festival on 2 July. With a range of speakers talking about subjects including dyslexia, autism and bullying from How to fly with broken wings author Jane Elson, to growth mindset and the power of reading from award-winning author Bali Rai and an entertaining and informative guide on how to write creatively along with plenty of Irish jokes from Dave Rudden, author of the Knights of the borrowed dark trilogy, there was something for everyone.
