In the second week of term, we were delighted to welcome back the Year 5 classes from Mile Cross Primary School for the finale event of our Dragons’ Den event.

‘Making Musicians’ forms part of the schools’ long-standing and highly respected programme of music enrichment. A large audience of parents, ONs, pupils, staff and external visitors in the Cathedral’s south transept were treated to a memorable recital on 25th January 2024 from two experienced and talented U6 pupils.

On January 23, 16 Norwich School pupils attended the Norfolk Schools Cross Country Championships at Wymondham College.

The 30th Annual Young Musician Competition hosted on Sunday January 20 was an astounding success. Various Norwich School pupils attended the event and performed excellently, collecting 6 out of the 7 prizes on offer.

On February 2, Addictive TV collaborated with Norwich School on a special one-off performance of An Orchestra of Samples at The Playhouse Theatre.

The Fellowship is our table top roleplaying club, meeting to play games, including Dungeons and Dragons and Call of Cthulhu, every Friday after school.

On Friday 12 January, pupils were introduced to the art of puppetry and got to experience the skill first hand, taking on a range of puppetry styles from old to contemporary. This workshop offered pupils an insight into the world of puppetry, learning about it's use and history all over the world.

We are delighted that the illustrious Royal Geographical Society continues to use the Blake Studio as their hub in the East of England for their public lectures. The series for 2024 was kicked off in style by Rebecca speaking about 100 years of mountaineering on Everest.
