House Captain of Brooke, Daniel Conway, tells us about the event:
"On the 24 November, Brooke House held their 3rd annual Danceathon where the whole of the house danced together for the tutor period. Dancing to a range of dances from the Just Dance game, everyone got involved and showed Brooke Houses’ ability to come together for a joint cause. In combination with this we held a bake sale during morning break selling baked goods made by members of the House. From cakes to cupcakes to brownies, the range of items made was amazing. One of cakes that stood out the most was a cake made with Brooke Houses signature lion on top – this came 1st – well done Jack Conrad, Lower 4 Brooke. All donations from both the Danceathon and the bake sale will be going to our House charity for this year, Blue Bear Freedom which is a local charity that is dedicated to helping children around the world affected by human trafficking and slavery."
