Norwich School pupil, Laura-Rose Cooke U6, competed on 2nd March in Redbridge in the Senior Women’s Artistic Gymnastics English Championships.

There were 71 competitors and Laura finished 11th All-Around; finishing 7th on vault and 8th on floor. This was a fantastic result given that she has been battling with an injury and also had to incur a fall on beam. This result should see Laura retain her place in the England Squad.

On 16th March, Laura will travel to Liverpool where she will compete at the M and S Arena in front of a sell out crowd competing against the very best gymnasts in the country. This will probably be Laura’s last British Championships as she has committed to going to Iowa State University in January 2020 to pursue her love of college gymnastics combined with studying for a degree.
