Norwich School pupil, Charlie O'Shea, finished second in the latest Free Ride World Tour competition. Whilst Norwich School pupils in both the Senior and Lower School were treated to a visit by professional storyteller, Kevin Graal.

'Norwich School pupil Freddie Steward took a break from his A level studies to make his first team debut for Leicester Tigers at the weekend.

The 18 year-old full back came on as a late replacement in the Tigers' Premiership Cup tie at Northampton Saints after impressing during his final year of Academy rugby. 

Hi big moment was witnessed by a bumper crowd of nearly 14,000, with parents Ben and Jane and one of his brothers Harry among those in attendance.'

In 2019, Norwich School is supporting the Norfolk Skills and Careers Festival for the fourth year. The festival, which takes place in March, is a two-day event held at the Royal Norfolk Showground featuring hundreds of local employers, businesses and organisations.

Hector and Reggie visited the Lower School on Wednesday 9th January along with their owner Victoria Haddon and walking companion Emma Robertson, following the release of children's book "Hectors Wheels".

'The next Norfolk finishers were Dougal Toms (7th) and brother Angus (9th). Together at first, Dougal drew away, not least due to his ability to whip through grass zig-zags with amazing nibleness.'

 Norwich Lower School pupils have been collecting food for the Trussell Trust Food bank, as part of the reverse advent calendar campaign. The produce was delivered by pupils in early December.

The school's Business Enterprise department have had the great pleasure to work on their first partnership project with Mile Cross Primary School and City College Norwich, in a Dragons’ Den competition. The Year 5 pupil Dragons’ Den competition saw Mile Cross pupils face real life business dragons, alongside Norwich School Sixth Form pupils.

Norwich school pupil Steven Denby has navigated his way to win gold at the British Schools Orienteering Championships in Blackburn and has been crowned national schools' orienteering champion.

'It was a case of so near and yet so far for Norwich School in round four of the RFU's National Schools Cup competition. Norwich were 7-28 down at one stage but fought back superbly after the break to lead 29-28. It looked like they were going through but on the stroke of full-time a penalty was conceded under huge pressure and the visitors converted it with the final play of the game to win 31-29.'

Harleston Magpies took the derby honours at Taverham to make it seven straight wins in the Premier A Division, with Norwich School Pupils Harry Paterson (U6B), Raunaq Rai (L6C) and Toby Culling (U6N) playing.

On Monday 19th November, EDP School Report published photographs from the Norwich School musical Chicago, a presentation of the Norfolk Young Chamber Award and a Dragons Den style day where Norwich School Sixth Form pupils worked with Mile Cross Primary School pupils to create a pitch 'dragons den style'.
