On Tuesday 22nd January twenty-one Norwich School runners took part in the Norfolk Schools Cross Country Championships at Langley High School.

Over a flat and fast course, Norwich School athletes competed against the best cross country runners in Norfolk. The aim was to finish in the top 12, in order to earn a County vest.

In the Junior Girls’ race Madison Kelly came 4th while Daniel Conway finished 6th in the Junior Boys’. James Price also came 6th in the Intermediate Boys and Mia Bartram qualified in 11th.  Four Norwich School Senior runners qualified, with Imi Shaw and Ella Bartram coming 4th and 11th and Angus Toms and Tom Blythe-Bartram coming 10th and 11th respectively.

Congratulations to all Norwich School runners, who all performed extremely well. The eight pupils named above have all earned a place in the County team, for the Anglian Schools Championship.
