The Norfolk Schools’ cross country qualifying event took place on Wednesday 18th January at a frosty Redmayne.
Competitor Ruby Ivie gave us her account of the day: “The L4 girls were first to race, and although the weather was extremely cold and icy, we managed to make it across the finish line. Niamh McAuley finished 1st, myself in 2nd and Maya Hornberger in 3rd.
We ran against Hethersett, CNS, Norwich High School, Notre Dame and after the race we went inside for refreshments. The overall experience was exhausting but rewarding!”
