Development Projects

Development plan

The purpose of the Development Plan is to enhance the school’s status as a beacon of educational excellence, locally and nationally.

To realise this aspiration we are working from the ground up, so to speak, enriching the daily experience of Norwich School for all of our pupils.

We have three main areas of focus:

Pupil Experience: We are making further improvements to our academic, co-curricular and welfare provisions.

Operational Management: While we embark upon capital projects to ensure the high quality of our facilities, we are pursuing a programme of improvements to our financial and operating efficiency.

Wider Communities: By advancing the work of our Development Team we are strengthening our relationships with the community for our mutual benefit in the educational, charitable and commercial contexts.

Excellent progress is being made with our multi-phase site development plan. The first two phases of the plan have been completed, being the Blake Studio and the multiple refurbishment/upgrades to the school estate, including the Carter Centre and the Music School. Norwich School has also expanded its provision to the Pre-Prep age range (Reception to Year 2) through the opening of an extension of the Lower School in September 2018.

The next phase of development, our upcoming Bishops' Palace Lawn project, will be by far the most ambitious construction project undertaken so far. These are exciting times, and we look forward to your support. More information is available below.
