On Sunday, the school's kayaking team travelled down to Surrey to compete in the National School's Kayaking Championships, which comprised three, K2, crew-boat events. 

The racing started with a sprint event, involving a 500 metre and a 200 metre elimination race. Dom Walker and Jago Taylor came first in both categories, while Nathaniel Lindner and Jasmine Sargeant came 6th in the 200 and 8th in the 500 out of 23 boats.   In the afternoon the marathon event took place, in which Dom and Jago maintained their superiority, finishing first over the 9km course, with four portages.  Nathaniel and Jasmine finished 13th. Both crews performed outstandingly and should be very proud of their results.
