We were treated to two talented performances on Thursday 29 February in the School Chapel from U5 Pupil, tommy Cahir, and U4 Pupil, Jacey Ng.

With 2024 a leap year, February offered an extra day which our Charities Committee were keen to make the most of!

We were excited to work with our school caterers Thomas Franks to discuss and continue our sustainability journey. 

From 27 February - 1 March an exhibition is held in the Crypt gallery to showcase the work of our Lower 6 Pupils in their project 'Album Covers'.

In anticipation of International Women’s Day next month, we are excited to announce a new exhibition at the Crypt Gallery titled “The Spirit of Boudicca”.

Norwich School rowers have been working incredibly hard over the half term break with U6 Pupil, Daniel Conway, entering the U19 GB Trials and the team ending the break with the Norwich Head. 

Over Half Term, 12 Upper 4 pupils, accompanied by Will Croston and Abbie Dean, flew to Germany for the annual Hamburg trip,

On February 14, Lower and Middle 5 Spanish pupils ventured to Malaga for a trip full of culture and excitement but most importantly, to put what they have learnt to the test! Pupils, Anna Hornbrook and Harriet Brightwell share how they found the residential...

This term fourth form pupils were invited to create a piece of artwork responding to the theme of ‘My Norwich-School’. Pupils choose their favourite aspect of school life for their plate designs as shown in just a few of the winning entries below by L4 and U4. 

It has been an exciting and busy start to the Lent term for Boys’ Hockey.

It has been a successful start to the Netball season, with plenty of matches, events and enjoyment.

There has been a good start to the rugby 7s this half term with 2 u18 tournaments and 1 under 14 tournament so far. A good performance Northampton Saints 7s for the U18s served as good preparation for the County Cup on Tuesday. 

The start of the new year and first half of the Lent Term has seen some excellent performances from the rowing team.

This half term the Dance Department has started working towards the Senior Dance Festival. Curriculum and co-curricular groups are preparing performances for this years ambitious showcase.

Well done to Edward Pearson, Joanna Yu, Leuka Ye, Grace Yeo and Lily Yu, who represented Norwich School in the Cambridge Chemistry Race at the Yusef Hamied Department of Chemistry in Cambridge on Saturday.

During the Amnesty Variety Evening last Friday, a packed Blake Studio was treated to a fabulous display of talent from a wide range of performers: pupils, guests from Sri Lanka and members of staff. There was an abundance of dynamic dancing, stunning singing and magnificent music-making.

On 9 February, we had the pleasure of hosting the Laurie Herring Prize award ceremony at the National Centre for Writing’s Dragon Hall.  

Today is New Year’s Eve in the Chinese speaking world in preparation for the Year of the Dragon. On Wednesday and Thursday, Norwich School welcomed the Year of the Dragon with an Assembly for the Main and the Lower School.

The Royal Geographical Society at Norwich School was overwhelmed by predators in the latest talk hosted here at Norwich School. 

Norwich Playhouse played host to a night of memorable music.
