On Monday October 16, tickets went on sale for Guys and Dolls and since then ticket sales have sky rocketed. To give you a taste of what it’s all about, we have an exclusive set of rehearsal photos and a teaser trailer!

On 19th October 2023 an audience of parents, teaching staff, alumni, well-wishers and alumni were blown away by a Making Musicians concert in the School’s Chapel.

This term saw the launch of the Norwich School Knitters and Stitchers Club and it is becoming more and more popular by the week. Run by Hollie Williams-Goff and Gill Parsons and with the help of Lisa Batchelor, the club meets every Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime and already has over 40 members

We welcomed our friends from Rogers & Norton this morning on October 18 morning to meet with pupils interested in a career in Law.

This week Norwich School pupils, alongside Mrs Hill and Mrs Stevenson, showed their support for the launch of the new Samaritans branch, Sams In The City, on Westlegate in Norwich city centre. Help was needed to paint the old retail unit and pupils were more than happy to lend a hand.

On Monday evening, over 200 people came to hear 22 members of the Upper Sixth deliver presentations about their Gold Independent Projects.

Over the weekend the U19 boys and girls teams both took part in 2 races for the English finals of the ESSkiA schools race held at Norfolk Snowsports Club in Trowse.

On the 14th of October, a 27 man squad travelled to Edinburgh, Scotland to take part in the annual Merchiston Castle School U18 Rugby Festival.

This week at Norwich School, celebrated not just one, but two remarkable occasions - Norwich School Day and World Mental Health Day. It was a week filled with community kindness and activities aimed at promoting mental well-being, diversity, and inclusion.

Torrential rain couldn’t stop over 165 zealous quizzers who gathered in Norwich School’s refectory for the FONS Michaelmas Quiz. This is a much-loved event, and, after navigating the small lake outside the main doors, it was to see the refectory once again packed with ONs, friends, staff and parents – former and current.

On Thursday, October 12, Norwich School's 1st XI Football played against St Johns Leatherhead in the Second Round of the ISFA Boodles Cup.

On Tuesday October 10,Norwich School held their annual Inter-House Benchball Tournament. This was a major part of Norwich School's One Norwich School Day, which celebrates diversity and inclusivity within the School and the wider community.

On Thursday October 26, Dalia Courridge's Art Exhibition and Auction titled "Catharsis" is displayed at The Crypt Gallery. Dalia's works are deeply personal and explorative, using the act of painting as forms of self-expression and healing.

On the evening of October 10, Norwich School were delighted to welcome back the East of England branch of the prestigious Royal Geographical Society (RGS) for the first of their lectures this academic year in the Blake Studio.

Norwich School is proud to partner with the Royal Geographical Society (RGS) for a second year to host a series of Youth Micro-Lectures on the theme ‘People, Planet, Partnership’.  We invite pupils in Years 10 to 13 from any school across the East of England to apply to give a short lecture on a topic of their choice to a public audience including RGS Fellows and Members!
