The Girls' Hockey programme has had a good start to the season with plenty of matches and block fixtures against the likes of The Perse, Beeston, Royal Hospital School, Greshams and most recently Kings Ely. Our 2nd Team and U12 qualified for the East Region Finals in November with the U12s becoming County Champions in the process. The U15A team have showed particular promise with a number of strong wins against local rivals, while the 1st team had an enjoyable and successful pre-season tour to Nottingham and have since played some great Hockey notching up some good wins while also playing well against strong opposition in the National Tier 1 tournament. Seventeen of our pupils (boys and girls) have recently been invited to attend the East Region Talent Academy showing the depth and breadth of our hockey programme.
Pupils are now looking forward to a Hockey Tour to the Netherlands over half-term.
