On Thursday 11 November, the whole school community gathered in the Cathedral to mark Remembrance Day and commemorate those who have given their lives in the defence of our country.

On Tuesday 9 November, we welcomed esteemed climate scientists Professor Rachel Warren and Dr Jeff Price to school to speak to pupils about climate change and the environment. This visit kicks off a week of action by Norwich School Green Group, who are seeking to raise awareness of issues surrounding climate change while COP26 is underway in Glasgow.

As the COP26 climate summit shines a spotlight on the climate change emergency, here in Norwich an exhibition has opened, highlighting the importance of trees for our future and featuring artwork from some Norwich School pupils.

On Saturday 16 October, Norwich School held our first Junior Indoor Inter-House Athletics Competition. Fourth Formers from across the Houses competed across a range of events.

Thursday 7 October was National Poetry Day and pupils celebrated by taking part in a range of exciting poetry workshops throughout the day, including Norwich School's second ever Poetry Slam.

Last week, Fourth Form enjoyed a week of activities at Hautbois House Activity Centre. This is the first residential trip of the year for the year group and was an excellent chance to strengthen existing friendships and build new ones.
