This term has seen the launch of the all-new 'Business Breakfasts', a chance for pupils to hear from industry professionals and chat over breakfast.

ON Freddie Steward (09-19) picked up two titles at the prestigious RPA Awards.

The Norfolk Youth Summit is now in its second year and brings together pupils in M5 and L6 from schools across the county for a series of talks and discussions on important issues. Thursday 19th May saw pupils from Norwich School and Ormiston Victory Academy join together for the final in-person session on the topic of Building a Mentally Healthy School.

This term the Partnerships Committee has voted to support local charity, the Norfolk LGBTQ+ Project . The committee are planning two events to raise money for the charity - Home Clothes Day and the Fashion Show. We caught up with Partnerships Committee member, Macy-Jane Hewitt, to find out more...

There was a lovely surprise awaiting regular members of the staff cricket team who assemble to play cricket on a Thursday evening when they were joined by ON, Leicester Tiger and England rugby international Freddie Steward.

Six Upper Sixth A Level Biology pupils recently sat the challenging British Biology Olympiad paper.

On 11^th May we were delighted to host in the school’s Blake Studio the long-established and well-known Norfolk Contemporary Arts Society (NCAS) as part of their events programme.

Norwich School has for many years been proud to host the East of England branch of the Royal Geographical Society in their excellent series of public lectures delivered by experienced and engaging experts. The school hosts a regular programme of interesting talks on site throughout the year to enhance the school’s intellectual offering to its community of pupils, alumni, friends and parents as well as to the wider city of Norwich. These lectures form part of that.

On Wednesday 11th May we welcomed designer Sophie Miller to Norwich School to begin a new series of careers events called “Business Breakfasts”.

This week is World Mental Health Awareness Week and we are delighted to announce the opening of our new School Welfare Hub! 

This Wednesday, 11 May, Norwich School welcomes Peter Higgins RDI (Creative Director of Land Design Studio), and Lol Sargent RCA (Digital Artist & Designer) to the Blake Studio to talk about digital art. 

This week The Crypt Gallery welcomes an exciting exhibition, 'Thoughts from a sleepless night' by Connor Coulston. Curated by Caroline Fisher, the exhibition runs from 13 May to 28 May, open Tuesday to Saturday, 12 noon to 4pm. We caught up with Caroline to find out a little bit more about the exhibition and also learn more about what the work of a curator involves….

On Monday evening, ten Lower 6 Modern Linguists speaking French, German and Spanish took part in the Regional MFL Debating Competition hosted at the Perse School in Cambridge.

Norwich School joined with local care homes and several other Norfolk schools for a virtual quiz run by charity Friend In Deed.

The latest Royal Geographical Society Lecture took place on Tuesday 26 April, from former journalist and foreign correspondent Stephen Taylor.

On Saturday 23 April, two of our M5 crews travelled to Nottingham for the Junior Inter-Regional Regatta, coming away with gold and silver medals.

Brooke's Big Night Out took place on Monday 25 April in the Blake Studio. 

On 21 April 2022, Norwich School was delighted to welcome on site the Norfolk Cambridge Society for the 12^th in their excellent series of public lectures delivered by leading academics.

Norwich School allotments are to be used by theatre group Orange Skies, who are bringing their show 'Wild Onion' to Norwich in May.
