Eliza Barclay (ON) is Victorious in the Inaugural Netball Super Cup!

On Saturday 8 March, ON and former first-team Netball Captain Eliza Barclay took part in the inaugural Netball Super Cup at the Utilita Arena, Sheffield.
Representing London Pulse, Eliza made her debut in the Superleague squad, contributing to her team’s triumphant victory in a thrilling final against Leeds Rhinos.
The tournament saw all eight Superleague teams competing in intense 14-minute matches, with the newly introduced "Supershot" adding an extra layer of challenge. London Pulse showcased remarkable resilience, progressing to the semi-finals after a commanding win over Cardiff Dragons in the rounds. It was in this high-pressure match that Eliza made her debut, stepping onto the grand stage in front of a crowd of over 8,000 spectators.
During the semi-final clash against Manchester Thunder, Eliza played the first half, helping Pulse secure a narrow yet crucial one-goal victory. The final saw Pulse deliver a dominant performance, clinching the Netball Super Cup title with an impressive 20-15 win over Leeds Rhinos.
Eliza’s call-up to the Superleague squad and her composed performance under pressure highlight her talent and potential at elite level. Her contribution to London Pulse’s success marks a significant milestone in her netball career, setting the stage for future opportunities in the sport.
