The Big Sister Initiative Fosters Female Friendship and Mentorship
December 4, 2025
Last week, female pupils from the Fourth Form joined our Upper Sixth volunteers for another successful peer-mentoring session. The group spent time discussing the topic of friendship while making friendship bracelets together, strengthening bonds across year groups in a relaxed and positive environment.
This initiative, launched at the end of last academic year, continues to go from strength to strength. Its purpose is to foster female friendship and mentorship, connecting our eldest pupils with younger students and building a supportive sense of sisterhood within the school community.
In the coming weeks, the group will vote on an official name for the society, drawing inspiration from a prominent female figure in either the school’s or Norwich’s history.
