STARS SHINE BRIGHTLY AT THE TRINITY CONCERT
June 13, 2024
The Summer Concert took place on Thursday 13 June at The Kings Centre in Norwich and it’s fair to say that it was one of the most spectacular concerts that the Lower School have put on. A huge variety of instrumentalists took to the stage including the Guitar Ensemble performing the James Bond Theme Tune, The Mind Blowers with Feeling Good featuring some amazing vocals by Annabelle Hitchings, The Recorder Crew with some Tango fun, Steel Pans Ensemble bringing some sunshine into the Hall and virtuosic, loud drumming skills from the Stickers Ensemble.
The audience were also treated to some wonderful vocal performances from the Lower School Choirs including Infants recreating their Pirates and Mermaids show,
Lower 2 Little Voices with a stunning version of the Skye Boat Song following by some musical magic with the crowd-pleasing song ‘Hats’ complete with sparkly bowler hats!
School Choir performed a beautiful arrangement of Scarborough Fair including full audience participation with the main tune, and Chamber Choir rounded off the concert with an emotional performance of ‘Journey On’ and a rousing finale of WoodChuck.
Head of Music Mr Vine said ‘I thought that last year’s concert was fabulous, but we have all just been treated to an incredible evening of music making – every pupil that took part shone like a star and performed with zeal and happiness. It was so wonderful to watch, and I want to thank every single one of you for your hard work!
A big thank you to all the Visiting Music Tutors who work so hard in their preparation for this event..
