Today's Making Musicians recital was given by Norwich School pupil James Thistlewood (Trombone) and Esther Skipp (cello) in Norwich Cathedral.
James and Esther performed music by Serocki, Bernstein, David, Brahms and Bach, to a full and appreciative audience, which included members of the Worshipful Company of Dyers.
Making Musicians is a developmental arts enrichment programme for exceptional musical talent. Singers and instrumentalists (both from within the school and the wider community) participate in an annual series of workshops, lectures, visits, masterclasses and recitals designed specifically to nurture young performers and composers.
