Adrian Cornell
Dr Adrian Cornell has been at Norwich School since 2016, and Head of Department since 2024. He took his first History degree at Christ Church, Oxford before working as a sub-editor at The Daily Telegraph. The desire to teach, however, took him to Italy – via a Master’s at UCL and a PhD at Lancaster – then to London and finally to Norwich School. He has published occasional academic articles on medieval religion but receives much more enjoyment from exploring the full range of the history curriculum, from L4 to U6, and encouraging pupils’ curiosity whatever they are studying.
