42 ceramic plates were made by fourth form pupils to share their individual experience of the school. The pupils were given the opportunity genorously by FoNS to work with visiting Potter Heather Griffiths for a day in February where they made clay plates and translated their designs using a traditional method of slip decoration.
The fourth form pupils were invited to create a piece of artwork responding to the theme of ‘My Norwich-School’. Pupils choose their favourite aspect of school life for their plate designs.
The plates will be going on display at the Forum during the forthcoming A Level Art & Design Exhibition 25th – 29th June!
