This week, to celebrate International Women’s Day, FemSoc are showcasing some of their most inspirational women, on day 3 we have Chanel Contos.

Chanel Contos is the founder of Teach Us Consent, an organisation that seeks to improve access to and quality of consent education in schools. She has done remarkable work through this, changing how sex education is taught in Australian schools, as well as delivering talks to young people to prevent sexual assault from a younger age.

Last month, Chanel delivered a talk to our Lower and Upper Sixth, which was very informative and taught them all something new, and in 2022, she was named one of the BBC’s 100 Women for her work.Chanel Contos is very active on socials and to find out more, follow @chanelc and @teachusconsent.
