Music is both a shared experience and an opportunity for individual expression. In the Music Studio, pupils develop their voices, explore instruments and learn how rhythm, melody and harmony work together. From Pre-Reception, children also use digital platforms to create songs and explore music in imaginative ways. Specialist teaching builds musical understanding step by step, while ensemble work teaches pupils to listen, cooperate and contribute to a collective performance. From first experiences of music-making to choirs, instrumental groups and concerts, children are encouraged to participate with confidence and develop a lasting love of music.
