Judith Nagel was appointed joint Head of Spanish in 2022. She holds an MA in Latin American Studies and Spanish from Utrecht University in the Netherlands and received her PGCE from the University of East Anglia in 2008. Her academic journey and anthropological fieldwork have taken her to live in both Guatemala and Panama, and she has also spent two years teaching in Madrid at a leading British International Primary School. She has been teaching at Norwich School since 2011, where she has also taught German and French in the Lower School, mentored early career teachers, and led numerous school trips to Spain. In addition, she teaches Latin to L4. At home, Judith speaks Spanish, Dutch, and English. She takes a keen interest in current developments in language teaching and enjoys incorporating creative approaches, including music, into her lessons.
