Mrs Song was born in China and completed her first degree, a BA in Education, at Nanjing Normal University. She later moved to the UK to pursue further study, graduating from the University of East Anglia with a Master’s degree in Education.

Before joining Norwich School in 2015, Mrs Song gained valuable teaching experience in state schools across Norfolk as well as in other independent schools. She now teaches Mandarin Chinese across both the Lower School and Senior School, sharing her passion for language and culture with pupils of all ages.

Alongside her teaching, Mrs Song is the Modern Foreign Languages Lead in the Lower School, where she helps to develop and enrich the language-learning experience for younger pupils.



Beyond the classroom, she is an active volunteer in the local community as a leader for the 8th Norwich Sea Scout Beaver Colony and a Cub Scout leader, supporting young people in their personal growth and development.
