Grace Murray (14-21) Publishes Debut Novel
January 19, 2026
Selected for Penguin's Random House programme for emerging talent, 'Blank Canvas' is already out in book shops.

Many congratulations to Grace for being selected from a pool of over 1,300 applications to Penguin House's flagship mentorship scheme, WriteNow. One of nine successful applicants, her debut novel, which is set in a quiet liberal arts college in New York, explores 'themes of catholic guilt and queer identity, clashing moral codes and lies, and the opportunity for reinvention presented by moving between countries and settings.'
