FONS Invests in our Young Entrepeneurs
March 12, 2026
The ever-popular Young Chamber participants have launched their businesses and are learning what it takes to be successful.
Many thanks to the Friends of Norwich School who continue to support the school’s society for entrepreneurs.
The FONS donation was channelled into supporting investments into 14 Chamber companies who presented business plans and competed for seed funding finance. Goods for sale include jewellery, fashion and clothing, printed items, a number of toys and widgets and assisting Little Lifts, a charity supporting people with cancer.
There are 55 pupils (across 4th Form and 6th Form) currently active in the Chamber programme, some of whom led an assembly on Young Chamber to share their enterprising ambitions.
Just before Christmas the Chamber partnered with the school’s Amnesty group and made a total of £345 in revenues (Chamber) and donations (Amnesty).
Businesses are moving forwards through the academic year and trading successfully. The society also meets weekly for the younger members to take opportunities to present and lead with their ideas.
We wish them continued success amongst their valuable experiences.
