Ethan Free
Mr Ethan Free joined Norwich School in 2023, following training in both the state and independent sectors. He holds a first-class degree in Physics and a PGCE in Secondary Science. His academic specialism lies in theoretical astrophysics, with a particular focus on the magnetohydrodynamics of neutron stars. Ethan’s scientific interests are broad, and he contributes enthusiastically across the curriculum, teaching Physics from L4 to U6 and Biology from L4 to L5. He also supervises L6 pupils undertaking the Independent Project and runs the annual Biology Photography Competition, themed in line with the Royal Society of Biology. In addition to his academic roles, Ethan is a dedicated member of the Fifth Form pastoral tutor team in Parker House, where he is known for hosting the much-anticipated annual Traitors-themed competition with his tutor group.
