Ester Ferrer Salamaña
Ester Ferrer Salamaña joined Norwich School in 2019 as Spanish Language Assistant. Following the completion of a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages three years later, she has since taught Spanish from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 5 and French at Key Stage 3.
Miss Salamaña studied a BA in English Language and Literature with a specialisation in Applied English Linguistics and maintains a particular interest in intercultural communication and the role of language in building connections. Highlights of her time at Norwich School include participating in the Jerusalema dance project with the Amnesty Group and supporting and leading on the U4 residential trip to Madrid, both experiences that celebrate community and language learning.
In addition to teaching, she is a member of the Brooke House Fifth Form tutor team. She has also joined the Bronze and Gold Duke of Edinburgh expeditions in Norfolk and the Yorkshire Dales.
