The Computer Science Zone supports pupils to become confident creators, rather than simply consumers, of technology. From Pre-Reception, children experience hands-on coding through robots and remote-controlled machines, including diggers. As they progress through the Lower School, they move towards robot building, Python coding, green-screen production and podcasting. Activities are structured so that pupils build skills progressively while still having space to experiment, collaborate and solve problems. Online safety sits at the heart of the curriculum, ensuring that pupils leave the Lower School with the knowledge, judgement and confidence to use technology safely and responsibly.
