LOWER 3 ENJOY A TRIP TO SUFFOLK TO IMMERSE THEMSELVES IN TUDOR LIFE
Wed, 05 Oct 2022
On a sunny September day, Lower 3 travelled into picturesque Suffolk to immerse themselves in Tudor life for the day at Kentwell Hall in Sudbury. As the enter and explore the majestic grounds of Kentwell Hall, they meet a whole host real life tudors, each with their very own role to play on the estate. The pupils enjoy dancing on the front lawn, asking questions in the tudor kitchens and gardens, watching new tools being made in the Smith's shed and having a go at creating remedies for ailments in the still room. The children then venture to the outbuildings and watch ladies create cheese and butter in the dairy and smell the delights of the bakery. The pupils asked some fantastic questions to further their understanding of tudor life, and thoroughly enjoyed their day. <
