On Thursday, October 12, Norwich School's 1st XI Football played against St Johns Leatherhead in the Second Round of the ISFA Boodles Cup. Captain, Arthur Turner , wrote "After a sublime first round win against Bedford Modern, we travelled to surrey to play St John's Leatherhead. Some wasted chances from the away side left the game at 0-0 with 10 minutes to play in the first half. Then, 3 quickfire goals in 5 minutes from Joel Field, Jonathan Udeh and Jofie Philpott, had the score 3-0 at half time in our favour. The second half began as the first half ended. 5 minutes in, Oliver Rudling climbed high and powered a header past the Leatherhead keeper to put us 4 ahead. Ryan Gray's tenacity to run in behind and add two goals late on secured a comfortable win of 6-0 to the good. The team now move onto the third round to face Repton, making Norwich School history." Congratulations to the team and also to Oliver Rudling , who was named Man of The Match. <
