Alexander Grant
Mr Alexander Grant is Assistant Head (Quality of Teaching and Educational Development). He was appointed to Norwich School as Head of History in 2014 and has also served as Deputy Head of Sixth Form and Head of Independent Project. He read History at the University of York, completed his PGCE at the University of Oxford and holds an MA in Contemporary History from the University of London. He has taught in China and spent six years teaching at Highgate School in London. He enjoys studying and teaching any period of history but has a particular interests in the English Reformation and British imperial history, particularly the process of decolonisation. An enthusiast for the co-curriculum, he has been heavily involved in drama, outdoor education, overseas trips and academic societies at various stages of his teaching career.
