Repton

Repton, conceived in 1984 under the auspices of Martin “French” Harrison, is the second youngest of the school’s Houses. Humphrey Repton attended the school (1672-74) and is best known as a landscape gardener, popularising the natural style. With his Red Books, collections of before and after drawings, he became a very celebrated figure in his lifetime, with his work living on to this day, including the wonderfully sweeping Sheringham Park in Norfolk. He is buried in the churchyard of Aylsham parish church.

Repton endured many challenges before he succeeded as an influential landscaper.  Pupils in Repton House are encouraged to face challenges with clear thought and resilience and if needed use the support network around them. As a House, we strive to support each other at all times as well as contributing positively within our community.
