Pupils enjoy the chance to network at new Business Breakfasts

27 May 2022

This term has seen the launch of the all-new 'Business Breakfasts', a chance for pupils in all year groups to hear from industry professionals and chat over breakfast.

Launched by our Higher Education and Careers Advisor, Ms James, the Business Breakfasts provide a unique opportunity for pupils to hear from professionals in all different career paths and to ask any questions they have.

The first ever session welcomed designer Sophie Miller, who has over 20 years of industry experience working worldwide for brands including Max Mara in Italy, M&S in London, and designing sportwear for Adidas.

The latest Business Breakfast focused on Engineering, where pupils had the chance to hear from ON Ali Sims, a Senior Project Engineer for Aquaterra, working to deliver renewable offshore projects involving wind and hydrogen. He spoke to pupils about Mechanical, Chemical, Structural and Electrical Engineering routes of qualification and opportunities for aspiring engineers.
