Parents were treated to another fantastic informal concert, this time given by pupils from L1 and U1, some of them performing solo in front of an audience for the very first time. The concert featured music from JS Bach, Rogers and Hammerstein, Coldplay and traditional French and Chinese folk songs.
Head of Music, Mr Vine said ‘ I have been so impressed with the performances in the informal concerts and last night was no exception – the children clearly loved performing and really enjoyed their evening. Well done to them for all their hard work and fantastic playing!’
The next concert is the Michaelmas Concert on the 22nd November which will be in the Cathedral starting at 7pm and will feature the 4 choirs of the Lower School together with the String Orchestra, Clarinet Club, Hot Air, Steel Pans Group, Intermediate Recorders and Guitar Ensemble.
