On Thursday 17th November, Lower One went on an exciting trip to visit Sprowston Fire Station to support their learning on their topic - People Who Help Us. Green Watch were fantastic and showed the children all the equipment firefighters use to rescue people and explained all about their special uniforms.
The children got to sit in the Fire Engine to see the cabin. They also got to use a hose pipe from the fire engine and squirt water! Below are some parts of the trip which the children really enjoyed!
I really liked squirting the water. There was a cone and we had to try and hit it with water. I did it! - Harrison
I liked looking round the fire station and using the hose pipes! – Arallie
I liked going in the fire engine. – Tireni
I went in the fire engine, and I saw everything they keep in the truck. It was really fun! – Aryan
Thank you Sprowston Fire Station for a fantastic trip!
