On Monday 23 January, the Lower School celebrated the arrival of the Year of the Rabbit with a very special Chinese New Year themed Assembly.

Senior School pupils shared stories of the Year of the Rabbit (兔年 tùnián), as well as the symbol of the Year of Rabbit, i.e. longevity, positivity, auspiciousness, wittiness, cautiousness, cleverness, deftness and self-protection. Eric Tao (U6) and Rosanne Lui (U6) sang a Chinese song "Rice Field" and Marvin Chan played guitar.

Everyone in the Lower School also enjoyed a fortune cookie that included surprising lucky messages for the new year!
