Mrs Hill: Good morning, Sixth Form!
I want to extend my gratitude to Mr. Peters and Mr. Child for allowing me to 'take over' today's assembly. We have a very special guest with us today, connected through our long-standing charity partners, Able2B. Throughout the year, we collaborate with Able2B in our Community Service programme and host their incredible annual event, 'Discover Your Ability Day.'
Our guest is quite well-known on social media, and I hope some of you have already come across her inspiring story. I believe you'll find her journey motivational and take away valuable lessons for your own life paths.
Emma Daniels is a remarkable individual who has faced significant challenges with unwavering determination.
Diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) after years of misdiagnoses, Emma spent 18 months unable to walk or stand.
Despite these obstacles, she has made incredible strides in her recovery journey. With the support of Able2B, a unique service in the UK dedicated to improving outcomes for people with disabilities, Emma has been working tirelessly to regain her mobility. Her inspiring story of resilience and hope continues to motivate and uplift those around her.
