Norwich School Responds to Charity Appeal

09 December 2022

When Ormiston Victory Academy approached us to see if our families might like to help support their Christmas shop and goodie bag appeal, we reached out to our community for help and it is fair to say our community responded...

The appeal went out on a cold and wintry Friday afternoon and temperatures hadn't risen much by the Monday morning, when members of the Partnerships Team collected donations in the school playground. It was incredible to see the donations come flooding in and it wasn't long before we had a van full of goodies, which we delivered to Ormiston later that day.

Naomi Palmer, Principal, said:

“We are utterly overwhelmed and so thrilled to be able to offer so many lovely items to our students for their hard work and kindness.”

Head Prefects Matthew and Grace, who help to run the Christmas Shop, also wanted to send their thanks to the Norwich School community:

“On behalf of everyone at Victory we wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone at Norwich School for all of your donations to the Christmas shop.

The shop makes a massive difference for some students and families who find Christmas a really tough time of year and it mean that as an Academy we can help spread a bit of extra Christmas cheer in our community.”

A huge thank you therefore to everyone who responded to this appeal from Ormiston Victory Academy with such generosity
