On Wednesday 8 March, Lower 5 pupils travelled to the Norfolk Showground to attend the annual Norfolk & Suffolk Skills and Careers Festival. Schools from across the East of England visited across 2 days; it is a fantastic chance to discover the huge range of opportunities available to young people in our region, and to get motivated and inspired to take the next steps towards your career.  

Norwich School pupils were enthusiastic and eagerly explored the hall which was filled with representatives and professionals from across all industries: everything from veterinary science to water management, from civil engineering to hospitality, from the armed forces to farming. Pupils were able to chat about jobs and study pathways as well as try their hand at the many challenges and competitions presented by companies. 

This was a terrific opportunity for Lower 5 to start thinking more carefully and maturely about their future study and work options and leads nicely into Norwich School's own Careers & Networking Event which takes place at St Andrews Hall on Tuesday 14 March from 19:00 to 20:30.
