On Monday 14 March, the Norwich School Dance Company, led by Head of Dance and Performing Arts, Miss Hacking, travelled to Stevenage to compete in the East of England Great Big Dance Off Competition.

They put in a brilliant performance and returned with a trophy as regional champions! They are now through to the national competition.

Benji (U4) writes about the experience: 

"It was a very different Monday than usual this week, as the Norwich School Dance Company had a trip to the Great Big Dance Off in Stevenage. We endured a really long bus ride down but it was definitely worth it. We were thrilled to deliver a smooth performance of our routine and we realised that hard work definitely pays off when it was revealed that we had won our division of the competition. We were ecstatic when we found out.  It was worth all the time and effort we put into rehearsals. A huge thanks to Miss Hacking for all hard work she has devoted to the company. Such an amazing achievement, especially since she only joined Norwich School in September! We’re so lucky to have her."
