We are proud of close links with the Norfolk Cambridge Society, and the school is the host site for their very successful termly lectures. The Society runs a highly prestigious and rigorous annual essay competition open to any pupil in Norfolk who formally applies to Cambridge University.

Norwich School took home an impressive haul of awards in December 2023:

In the Commended category were:

Milly Smith       

Antonia Williamson

Poppy White

Each received £50 for their contributions.

Those subsequently shortlisted for an interview by a panel of academics were: Alex Brown, Bibi Boyce ON and Katy Burton.

The final awards were as follows:

‘Of Merit’ and receiving £100 was Alex Brown

‘Of Great Merit’ and receiving a £400 award was Bibi Boyce

‘Best in a strong field’ and awarded the top prize of £600 was Katy Burton
