All Fourth Form and Fifth Form pupils are being offered a mission this World Book Day. Should they choose to accept it, they are tasked with discovering the author and book title that every one of their teachers (and other staff around school) have on their person.  

Our pupil agents may use surveillance methods or undercover disguises, they may carry out clandestine operations using code, cryptology and counterintelligence, but probably the easiest thing to do will be to ask the members of staff directly! 

(Almost) all members of staff will have “A World Book Day Book” – that is to say the title and author of a specific book - and pupils simply need to collect as many as they can. There are Book Token prizes for first, second and third places in Fourth Form and in Fifth Form. 

Staff can look forward to a day of, hopefully gentle, interrogation!
