Norwich School’s Choral Society is one of the largest choruses in the region. Founded in 1983, each year the Society joins with pupils from the School’s Chapel Choir to give a performance in St Andrew's Hall, as well as concerts across the region and services at Norwich Cathedral. Norwich School also has a long history of nurturing young instrumentalists both within its own orchestras and from other schools in the county.

Founded in 1947, the London Mozart Players have a reputation for memorable live performances and recordings of the core classical repertoire. The orchestra plays an active role in contemporary music, giving many world premieres and commissioning new work. The orchestra is also committed to sharing the creative arts with schools and communities, by undertaking collaborations such as this concert with Norwich School.

Pat Stephenson, Secretary of the Choral Society is in no doubt that it will be a memorable evening. “It doesn’t get any better than this,” she said. “It’s wonderful that our members have the chance to sing a wide variety of beautiful music alongside some of London’s top professionals.”

Norwich School Head of Instrumental Music and Conductor, Andrew Weeks, added: "It's going to be a real pleasure to perform again as a choir and orchestra after years of isolation. There is something for everyone from Bach to Gjielo, old and new, the programme is sure to engage you. Singers are aged from 12 - 96 across the intergenerations choirs!"
