On Friday 18 March, Norwich School's annual Jazz Night returned for a fantastic evening of exceptional music, food and dancing.
The Senior Jazz Band was delighted to return to the stage, after being largely deprived of performance opportunities during lockdown. They selected a range of music from pop, jazz, funk and disco styles, meaning there was something for everyone!
In addition to the Senior Jazz Band, there was a range of solo support acts picked from the School's annual 'Unplugged' evening in February, and a selection of choirs - GForce, Gospel Choir and the Barbershop Quartet: The Close Shaves. They were also joined by pupils in the Saxology ensemble, a training platform for young saxophonists.
Finally, Norwich School welcomed the Simon Brown Quartet, a local group, to break up the evening's School performances.
Close to a thousand pounds was raised, with all the proceeds going to charity.
