This term, Brooke House have managed to raise an incredible £465 to Blue Bear Freedom.

Fraser Evans from Brooke House, suggested the charity for Brooke House's fundraising events and after a pupil vote Blue Bear Freedom was selected...

"Brooke House decided to support and raise money for Blue Bear Freedom this term. This is a charity that came to our notice when the Blue Bear coffee shop opened opposite the Erphingham Gate at the start of September.  In addition to serving delicious coffee (and doughnuts!), the not for profit coffee shop supports the registered charity Blue Bear Freedom whose aim is to protect and empower children around the world who are affected by human trafficking and modern slavery.  This year they are aiming to raise £15,000 to send to a project called Lilly's House in the Dominican Republic which provides accommodation, counselling and education to victims of sex trafficking. Brooke House are pleased to have raised just over £400 towards this target though our bake sale and danceathon. Our fundraising activities will continue throughout the rest of the academic year" - L6 Pupil, Fraser Evans
